What will your teens experience look like at one of our camps? We hold to the belief that wilderness survival and confidence depends largely upon each individual’s capacity for adaptation, mental fortitude, willingness to learn and grit. We will teach or expand on current knowledge of knife & saw use, different styles of fires (including steam pit cooking), tracking, plant ID and foraging, we will teach on what to do if lost in the woods (with team overnight challenge), water for survival, outdoor hygiene, bear safety and so much more (plus much fun!). Our winter session will also include winter shelters and snowshoe challenges.

Seasonal Teen Wild Weekends

Location: Camp Valaqua - yurt location

Ages 12 - 17

Dates: October 3 - 5, 2025, January 2 - 4, 2026 and May 29 - 31, 2026

Time: Drop off between 3-5 pm on Friday pick up 4pm on Sunday
